I and my friend dropped here lately.
I WOULD like to share my experience with everyone here.
ESCAPE has a large roomy design, which bears some similarity to Float's in Delhi, due to the presence of a large bar in the centre, from whence all comers are served. There are bar stools where you can sit and jive with the bartenders and there are plenty of sofas and chairs scattered around the room. A few tvs with FTV on them and dim pictures of a kissing couple seemed to round off the decor. Team Tulleeho without further ado, consulted their friend the menu, and ordered a Sex on the Beach, an Escape Special (Vodka, Bacardi and Orange juice) and a small rum and coke for the third member of our party who had an inherent distrust of cocktails.
While we were waiting for our drinks and catching up on the day, we surveyed the crowd around us, which was fairly mixed. A large proportion of those present was the younger set, while there were some of the older generation too either avuncularly beaming or leching. By and by, the crowd made these attempts to start dancing, but were soon quietened by the floor police. Our drinks arrived and we fell upon them eagerly. The Sex on the Beach was excellent and we would recommend it unquestioningly. Even our cocktail distruster was won over. The Escape special was quite decent too, and you can't really screw up a rum and coke. A reasonable place is Escape, and but for the aforementioned pounding music and some unnecessarily dim lighting, it's a nice place to go to for a drink.
Check it out and don't forget to fill up our Pub Graffiti when you're done
