What you see - Located at the new IT hub of Hyderabad, Gachibowli and inside the very plush Hill Ridge Resorts stands Ellaa Suites. The lobby here is done up with minimalist architectural style. There is a very spacious and uncluttered feel to the whole place.
What you get – Ellaa Suites has a total of 117 rooms with ample space to hold even a wedding party or a business conference. The rooms are divided into three categories - Superior Room (with a shower, walk in closet), Executive Suite (with a living room area, dining area and bathrooms with bath tub) and Ellaa Suite (with two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a living room area, a conference table, a dining room). Added features include Wi-fi facility, LCD TV, DVD players and modular showers.
Ellaa also has a spa called Nirva. Here a wide variety of massages and natural therapies are on offer. Not only the massage but even the food served there is to relax and re-energise your mind and body. Nirva also houses an indoor heated swimming pool and a world class fitness centre along with an indoor patio. It has a glass ceiling giving you the feeling of sitting outdoors.
Nirva is an experience to savour but the highlight of the hotel is the walkway through the spa to the multi-cuisine restaurant Indus. The design is inspired by the art deco designs of the 1960s of Miami, Florida. The décor is very impressive with the feeling of a sun kissed beach inside the air-conditioned hotel corridor.
Indus, the multi-cuisine restaurant at Ellaa has a lavish buffet spread. Chinese, Mughlai, South Indian, Continental and Italian food are on offer though it’s the first three options that they dish out the best. Desserts are a must-try. The restaurant is very spacious and well-lit thanks to the huge glass wall which gives you a beautiful view of the lawn in front. Decorated in shades of white this is another place which gives you the feeling of dining outdoors in the comfort of an air-conditioned ambience. On Sundays there is a special buffet here with swimming and drinks by the pool followed by brunch at the restaurant.
Through the lobby on the right is Expresso – The Café which offers a range of very delectable pastries and breads. You can also look forward to your favourite drink at Rocks – The Lounge Bar which is very tastefully decorated. Apart from that there is a garden restaurant Kebab Pavilion – The Starlit Kebab Court, known for its succulent Kebabs.
Our verdict – Ellaa is for luxurious stay. The hotel is designed beautifully, the location is apt and the facilities are fine. Reservations for hotel and spa can also by made online on their website which adds to the convenience value.
