What you see -
As you take the left turn from Cyber Towers towards Cyberabad, a series of signboards posted on the road divider lead to Inorbit Mall (right next to the Vanenburg IT Park) in Hyderabad. A mall claimed to be the biggest in South India, Inorbit stands tall overlooking the beautiful Durgam Cheruvu Lake. A driveway takes you to the entrance from where you are directed to the really huge multilevel parking, where every parking slot has a unique number to itself, for easier identification.
What you get -
As you take the elevator to the ground floor, you are greeted by Hypercity Supermarket. A mini mall in itself, Hypercity is a supermarket where you can buy just about anything. On offer is a wide range of innovative, local and international products in categories as packaged food, fresh fruits and vegetables, homeware, entertainment, furniture, domestic appliances, fashion, toys and fitness. Most of the products are available at discounted prices. Wide aisles and categorized displays enhance the shopping experience here. The Café Coffee Day outlet within Hypercity comes as a great relief after an exerting round of shopping. The Frankie counter right outside Hypercity is generally crowded with tired shoppers trying a quick grub.
A perfect retail therapy destination, Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad is home to many fashion brands. Lifestyle, Splash, Shoppers Stop, Max, Wrangler, Zodiac, Lee, Proline, Manyavar and Reebok are just some of the many known fashion brands that the mall houses. Other than these, fashion forward brands like AND, Remanika and Kazo offer an urbane, super stylish fare. Jashn, the famous designer saree store, extends a high-end, eclectic mix. And if you are looking for some contemporary, chic costume jewelry, there are stores like Accessorize, Zuri and Ayesha which offer everything from sleek pieces for college goers to elaborate, crystal studded accessories for party wear. Coming to real jewelry, Nyasa, Nirvana and Krishna Pearls extend exquisite ranges. Looking for a new watch? Head to Ramesh Watch on the ground floor for almost all popular Indian and international brands.
Inorbit Mall offers interesting options for bags and luggage too. An exclusive Hidesign store, Bagzone and the first Baggit store in Hyderabad are the best options in addition to the bag range extended by Lifestyle, Splash, Max, Mochi and Shoppers Stop. For booklovers, there is a well-stocked Crossword offering all the usual genres in addition to stationery items.
Inorbit overall offers a great shopping experience, however the stores MetroMela highly recommends include Body Shop, which offers natural skin and hair care products, Maple Cookware, which offers everything a kitchen requires and Identiti, which extends innovative name plate ideas.
The swanky food court on the second floor extends a multi-cuisine affair including North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, Continental and Italian. Mc Donalds fans can rejoice for there is a big one at Inorbit. Creamstone ice-cream too is a must try, as the combinations available here are quite interesting.
Our verdict -
Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad is a perfect weekend destination. Mostly abuzz with promotional activities, there are high chances you might get lucky. Each floor of the mall provides a splendid view of the Durgam Cheruvu Lake and the well-maintained garden. All the floors in Inorbit Mall are connected by escalators as well as elevators. The washrooms are very clean and hygienic, which mostly is not the case with shopping malls in Hyderabad.
