It offers six levels, starting from the initial and moving towards the advanced at the end of which, you can read, write and converse fluently in the language. These can be taken up over the weekend, or on a fast track or slow track basis. French is one of the official languages of the United Nations. As an educational and cultural organization, Alliance Francaise’s primary aim is to popularize French linguistically and culturally. It runs various courses ranging from breakthrough to mastery, with each being for 100-200 hours. They even have a Diploma in Business French. Registration fee for the breakthrough courses here is about Rs. 2,200 and is exclusive of examination fee. You can choose the morning or the evening hours. Tailormade courses for offices or schools are also available.

You can either do the part-time course here or get a proper Master of Arts degree in any of the above languages. Fees differ based on the kind of course you take up.
