The really cramped entrance with Lord Ganesha guarding the extended threshold is what you see first of this no-nonsense restaurant, Chutneys. The interiors are kept to the bare minimum with cane chairs and wood look-alike tables. The music they play is also predominantly...
good variety and great vegetarian food... buffet (comes at attractive price) is something you must enjoy there..

if someone wants to have typical south indian food then this is the place one should head towards.service is good but one would definetly like the food being served on banana leafs arranged nicely on the plates...but i felt parking is little problematic coz as soon as one comes out of the parking he or she has to tackle the main road traffic which is quite hectic...
I think that this restaurant is only good for breakfast.... coz thers nothing much as variety except for veg, for peole who visit hyd.. for the first time its ok... but very soon its not that happening place!!
Chutneys is one of my favs resturants in hyd. I bet you love it here especially idli, dosas... They also have good variety and tasty south indian dishes for dinner too. The only bad thing is it is always crowded.
Awesome taste as ever...with many varieties..if you are a foodie this is a right place to venture classy veg food! somehow the music is not all that impressive.
It is a crowded place ,everytime i visit this place,i need to wait atleast 20 min ti get in. I think that tells us everything.
chutenys is the best in hyd but parking arae is less.
Chutneys....a place u can never get bored off!!! the variety of "Chutneys" served here are simply delectably yummy and one must try the Guntur Idli and the famous Babei Idly. The buffet too is sumptous and delicious!! Iam very happy Chutneys is close now at Himayatnagar! the ambience, the food, the courtesy will let to visit this place again n again!
Sumptous Breakfast. A little costly but tasty nevertheless.

You must not miss the Steamed Dosa here. Its simple taste along with the variety of chutneys is a complete meal one can have !
Apart from parking, the other facets of the restaurant are great. If you are from Vijayawada, try the Babai idli here and see if you can tell the difference.
