There are times when you step into a parlor ginger-footedly, more so if you are visiting it for the first time and when you come out you keep thanking your stars for the lovely journey that you went through and realize that was it something that you always yearned for and something that you want to experience forever.
Well, when it comes to grooming yourself, compromises that you are prepared to make are none and why not, who doesn’t love self-care and grooming and more so for the confidence that you get thereafter, enabling you take the world head-on.
I am narrating my experience at ‘Beauty Retreat’. After having received multiple good references about the parlor from my known circle, one fine afternoon, I decided to treat myself there. It was a one of those lazy afternoons when you want to relax your mind and body and let someone else take over the control. Yes, no-sooner I entered the aromatic music was enough to please my soul and something told me that this was the place that I desired for. Along with the music, what hits you instantly is the ambience. The beauty of the ambience lies in its effervescence and simplicity. It took me sometime to settle my thoughts before I could ask what I came there for. After seeing the uncluttered service card with lucid mention of easy-on-pocket rates and once I had settled down on what I really wanted I was quite amazed to see that the complete package was for just Rs.1200 <>. While the parlor surrounding was so warm what surprised me even more was the personal attention provided by the staff of the parlor and owner. Not even for once was I left alone without something positive happening (be it the regular service or the good talks) and more so I often received some very helpful and easy to execute daily grooming tips. What left me totally speechless were the nail arts. I couldn’t resist asking about them only to receive enough and more nail care tips. WOW! Am I totally mesmerized or was the heavenly feeling captivating me towards bliss, whatever it was I just loved it.
I was obviously there for some beauty treatment but it turned out to be beauty treatment with some soul healing as well. Thanks ‘Beauty Retreat’ and Thanks Rajvinder for giving me the experience of my life. All I can say is I will be yearning for your services for-ever and will see you soon.

You are made to sit in a comfy, mani-pedi chair and watch yourself being scrubbed, massaged and pampered to perfection. The hour-long sessions are generally rounded off by careful strokes of nail paint in colors like yellow, electric pink, aqua green, purple, silver, gold and black, which are manufactured by the salon owner herself. If you are in a mood to experiment, you could request them to do nail art in a design of your choice. You also have the option of getting rhinestones affixed for a dramatic effect. Gel nail extensions (Rs. 1,500 for five nails, Rs. 2,500 for ten) are also done as a long term (six month) solution for immaculate nails.
Coming to facials (Rs. 300–850), Beauty Retreat salon extends options like fresh fruit facials (berries, papaya, strawberry), chocolate facial, 24 carat gold facial, fire and ice (for blemishes) and a unique, 15-day shine facial, which is a combination of several facials. Known to deliver effects as suggested, facials are done on beds with adjustable incline to ensure proper blood circulation for best results. Fresh fruit facials require a 24-hour prior appointment. Bridal packages are available too.
For hair cuts and colors, Beauty Retreat again is just the right place. Styles (Rs. 200 onwards) are suggested keeping in mind the face cut and lifestyle of the client. Streaks are done for Rs. 700 and full hair color for Rs. 3,000, all using branded coloring products.
Apart from this, the salon extends specific treatments for tan, hair fall, acne, warts and mole removal. The line of equipments available include high-frequency ozone treatment machine for acne, skin polishing machine, blackhead suction machine, warts and mole removing machine and gel nail curing machine.
